Abounding Grace is a unique 5 Sunday stewardship program, featuring Sunday School lessons and sermons. The lessons are based on Paul's exhortation to the Corinthians to follow the example of the churches in Macedonia by responding with a bountiful spirit in giving to the needs of the poor and persecuted Christians in Jerusalem.

       The sermons extol the qualities of the bountiful spirit. Five sermons focus on Bible characters who had a bountiful spirit, and five are based on parables of Jesus which feature the bountiful spirit. The pastor can choose which series he wants to preach during the stewardship promotion, and use the other series during the year to keep the bountiful spirit theme before the church.

      The long range purpose of an Abounding Grace stewardship campaign is to develop a spirit of bountifulness, resulting in a church that overflows with grace and service. The immediate purpose is to obtain a financial commitment from members which represents their desire to embrace the bountiful spirit.
